Interested in learning more about hydro dams? Join us at the Lake Wissota Hydro Dam for a tour of this landmark facility in our community operated by Xcel Energy. Tours are approximately 90 minutes.
Due to the very high demand in our community to tour these amazing facilities, we are asking that if you have toured any of the hydro plants in the past, please do not register this time. We want to accommodate as many of those who were not able to get in previously as we can.
Please be aware - the tour will require a lot of walking and climbing of stairs. These facilities are not handicap accessible.
